The Reality
What actually happens to
unmaintained websites.
Speed degrades
Images and code that aren't periodically audited accumulate performance debt. Sites that loaded in 1.2s at launch often slow to 3–5s within a year without optimization checks.
Security gaps appear
Even non-WordPress sites can develop vulnerabilities when third-party services, integrations, or dependencies update their APIs. Staying current closes those doors.
Broken links pile up
Pages get moved, services change URLs, and external resources go offline. Broken links hurt SEO, frustrate visitors, and signal to Google that your site is neglected.
Rankings drop
Google's crawlers revisit sites regularly. Outdated content, slow load times, and unchecked errors all contribute to gradual ranking decline — which means fewer customers finding you.
What's Included
Everything we handle every month.
These aren't just vague promises — here's exactly what gets done on your site each month.
Site Security
Security isn't a feature.
It's a foundation.
When we talk about "website security," we don't mean a fancy lock icon. We mean the actual practices that prevent your site from being hacked, your customers' data from being exposed, and your business from being embarrassed online.
FAQ
Common questions about
maintenance.
Yes — in fact, that's when it matters most. Sites that aren't actively managed are the ones that silently accumulate broken links, slow load times, and missed SSL renewals. The maintenance plan handles all of this in the background without you having to think about it.
A content update covers things like: changing your hours or pricing, swapping out a photo, updating a service description, adding a new page section, or adjusting contact info. Large structural redesigns or new pages are quoted separately.
Standard plan clients receive same-business-day response to site issues. Priority plan clients get a direct line with response within 2 hours during business hours, and same-day response for anything critical.
Yes. All plans are month-to-month with no contracts. Cancel before your next billing date and you won't be charged again. We don't believe in locking you in.
Framer sites handle some things automatically (platform updates, hosting), but you still benefit from performance monitoring, SEO checks, content update credits, and form testing — all of which the maintenance plan covers.
No problem. One-off updates are available at $75/hour. However, most clients find the Standard plan pays for itself within 2–3 updates and the peace of mind of ongoing monitoring.
